*I do not have copied a rough draft of our news release. This is because I forgot to save the initial file from google documents as a word document or a pdf.*
Reflection of Peer Review:
After sharing our news release with the class, we received feedback in areas that was helpful. One thing that our classmates pointed out to us was our organization of the release itself was clear and concise and that it did not take up more than a page, which is attractive to the reader. The peer review of our news release was pretty short, with a few compliments like the one recently provided, and other compliments on the bolding of certain parts of the news release like the partnerships we have, the headline of the document, etc. Before the review, the document was about a page long, after it was shortened to a little under a page, and it only consisted of information that would be pleasing to the reader.
My Role:
We started working on this news release in class for a few minutes after it was assigned. The role that I assumed was the interest section, which originally included what we offer within our service. This was then edited down, split, and moved around the news release to maximize the document’s efficiency. I would like to give my groupmate, Emma, most of the credit for the initial work and editing done in this project, she was the leader of this document for sure. My actual role was reading over her thoughts, then combining those with mine so that this document was the best that it could be.
