This is sort of a capstone project for this class, much like the blog project and its presentation were. My partner and I decided to put a creative twist on this project by making mock post-game interviews of our favorite players, but instead we talked about the semester as a whole. The project itself was fun to produce, but also really cringey and embarrassing at times.
To add a little more detail, we mocked one of Allen Iverson’s most famous post-practice interviews where he was defending himself against accusations that he never shows up to practice and that’s why his team is not performing as well as it could. Pete assumed the role of Iverson for this one, using the blog project posting as a placeholder for showing up to practice. Next, I mocked Kobe Bryant’s famous interviews after winning the second game in the finals in a row. In this interview, he was not satisfied with being ahead, because there was still more to accomplish to reach the goal. I used this clip to say that I am not happy yet because I haven’t finished out the semester.
To save the reader time, I will let you watch the rest of the video below to see what other famous sports interviews we put twists on!
